Campaigning Against the Decriminalisation of Prostitution
The OFN signs open letter objecting to a call for CoE member states to decriminalisation of prostitution.

The OFN has signed an open letter objecting to a call by the Council of Europe (CoE) Human Rights Commissioner for all member states to adopt the full decriminalisation of prostitution, including pimps, brothel keepers, and sex buyers.

The European Court of Human Rights, which comes under the auspices of the CoE is currently considering its decision on a legal challenge to the French Nordic Model law. For the Commissioner to publish her comment at this time would appear to be an attempt to influence the Court and could be considered contempt of court in England – but the CoE appears to be above the law.
